The last few years have been tough, but I managed with the help of awesome colleagues. Most of 2023 and 2024 were spent caring for my parents during a serious illness while also managing work. I even considered an internal transfer to Hyderabad at Microsoft and received an offer in India, but finally decided to stay in Canada.
We welcomed baby Guntaas Singh Aulakh in September 2025, a wonderful and life-changing event. My day now starts with him: his smile, his crawling, and then standing. Every day brings a new happiness. As he slowly transitions to daycare, it feels like I finally have time again to focus on personal projects and my blog.
In between all this, I have also been catching up on AI. The best part is that AI helps me draft posts and improve grammar. Let’s see how I manage my time and continue focusing on personal projects. I will share updates here.
